One of the challenges of traveling full time is trying to figure out where to hunt every time you hit a new area. We are currently in the St. Roberts MO area. After some research and test hunts I think I have found an area worth spending some time in.

2 quick hunts have resulted in 3 keepers and enough older clad quarters and dimes to tell me the area hasn't been beat to death by MD'ers ahead of me. I will now slow down and methodically hunt the area.

The IH is a 1900.

I am still looking for locals to hunt with. If anyone wants to put a hunt together, shoot me a PM.

We are enjoying ourselves. And the farther east we go the older things are getting. I'm like a kid in a candy store. Spending the season in Missouri, Louisiana and Kentucky. Everything is so much older than Arizona!

Nice coins! Any mint mark on that Barber?

That Barber was almost a Seated!

Looks like a good spot to me. Good luck and I’m very jealous of your lifestyle.

Enjoy your travels and happy hunting.

Hi, Jimmy. I see you're still posting great finds.
The 1/4 Real was definitely older, even though I could never clean it up enough to read the date.

My oldest coin (if I dated it right) was a Chinese coin I found at a old gold mine camp in Nevada. It was circa 1790.

Wish I was in your area, I'd join. Maybe try the Missouri section of the forum? Nicely done!!
