I am in the market to buy some gold...the question to all you coin mavens is...what form/type is the best choice? I am not sure if I want to buy for specie for numismatic value or bullion. I would like suggestions or experience on what you have done that provided the least fees, best margins with high levels of privacy.

Amount: $50k
Length of time held: 1 to 2 years.
Liquidity: Important
