Have You Ever Found Somethin Ya Probably Weren't Suppose To?

Ya'll be nice.

Today I went back to the mountain/pasture to see if I could locate any sort of a road/trail that lead to the site where I found the Eagle buttons and bullets etc.... I walked all over that mountain, going up one tier at a time and found a couple of bullets. Ended up being my usual self after several hours and wondered around till I got to the woods. Stayed in there for an hour or so and ended up at the pond. Saw lots and lots of pottery and decided to stay there for a while. Finally got a good signal and started to dig. Got the target out and scanned the hole again...something still there? Well...after rescanning several times and getting targets out each time, I sat in the middle of that pasture and laughed till I was rolling! I think I found something that I wasn't suppose to! I counted 20.

Was a beautiful day to be outside in Bama.

Are those what I think they are. I found a bunch of those types of tins at a site I just hunted. Hard to read what's on them.

Still nice to be out. Your gonna run into some good finds. You get out there and really get around. I know how hard you work.

Hey it can get much worse Nana--a few weeks back I moved some rotting leaves back to dig a metal target and under those leaves was what comes out of those tins! No joke. I'll offer no more details.

Anyway, you never know what's out there under the surface. That's the beauty of this hobby. I go hunting concentrating on a gold coin or some cool relic and I'll dig something that never even entered my mind.

We're into the snow stage of the game up here and man it stinks. My wife is like "it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas" and all that humbug! Snow..yuck!

Love your posts (threads) Nana! I think we all quickly scan the TN menu every day hoping Nana has posted something. 8)
