Have you ever sold anything on EBay you found with your detector for more than $1000?

My Telluride Colorado token sold for $999. Sure made my Christmas!!! 4C91BC48-2224-45FD-B40F-F73E18B5DAAB.webp I would love to see some other sold items you all have found with your detectors!!! Happy Holidays!!! I think I did the happy dance a little longer when it sold, compared to when I found it!! Hope it’s a better year than ever!!!

That is pretty freaking awesome. I personally do not sell anything I dig, but this might change my mind!

Congrats!!! nice save, even better sale!

I needed a new roof and the money sure helped out. I keep so much of what I find but I have narrowed own what I like to collect. I thought about passing this down to my boys, but they have some incredible collections coming to them. I worry they do not know the value of a lot of my finds. I will probably sell a lot of things when they enter college. . Thanks for the posts, happy Christmas Eve!!!

Hello this is the IRS,you owe us some money.Pay up.

[That’s what they tell me every year The ebay and PayPal already take enough!!! Lol
why volunteer info when you don't have to.

This is the only find I've ever put on Ebay, but I sold it as an auction item with no reserve.

That token sure has some charm. Ebay is funny, with highly collectible items its nice to watch the bidding wars go up at the end. Thanks!!!!

Awesome good for you!!! I sold some jewelry for a new water heater and some other stuff wasn't happy but I did.

Can you guys tell me where you're finding these tokens? Asking for a friend, he hates metal detecting by the way.

Old foundations around busy mining towns. Usually when they bulldoze a house put in a driveway or stir up the dirt. I found this in the backyard of a house in an old mining town. If he hates metal detecting he might try antique stores or looking on the classified section here or definitely asking the local metal detecting clubs. If he likes tokens he should get a detector. It’s quite a rush finding those little unknown pieces of history. Welcome to treasurenet!!!

I placed an 1805 bust dime on eBay I found VF but bent went to almost $900 and I just couldn’t do it. I still have it today as one of my best finds. I actually can’t bring myself to sell any of my finds but I did sell part of my regular coin collection to buy new metal detector.

No, generally don't sell anything I find. I have given a lot away, however. The only things I sell on Ebay is stuff I bought on a whim, then sell at a whim.

I sold my 1916 D merc. In G condition. Got $250. I regret selling. Both the money and coin are long gone.

Not yet... but I plan on listing my MINT condition pull tab with a 2000 BIN... so I think it will bid to half that.
