Hey everyone. Next month I am heading to Villa Rica Georgia which is a bit out of my element. I am looking for a spot to either prospect or relic hunt without having to travel too far. Thanks!

Welcome to Georgia -- You are going to a good spot, Villa Rica --- means THE RICH Villlage ---- Rumor has it that its the end or the start ( depends on how you look at it ) of the Georgia Gold Vein that runs up to Dahlonega ---- I dont do anything out that far west But do some searches on google for gold in Georgia -- or search for some gold mining supply stores They might be able to give you some leads ------ Always remember only 90% of the Georgia Gold has been revovered --- as they said in Dahlonega in 1849 " Dont leave boys THERE IS STILL GOLD IN THEM HILLS """" As for relics - there is still lots of Civil war stuff buried in GA -----GOOD LUCK ------- Research the websited and civil war maps

If your gona be hunt'n in the Villa Rica area you might consider giving Strickman
a shout on the forum . He lives out there and might help you out on a spot
or two . He might even take you to a place if you pay him . :laughing7:
