Went to the site of a 1855 home. Found what I think is a watch fob for Headlight Coveralls. Has a man and slogan on one side and a train with slogan on the other. In the trains headlight it say 1897. This is marked Learned Carter & Co. Detroit MI.

Great piece of history you found !!
Short bio on Larned:
Born in 1871 in Fenton Michigan, Larned moved to Detroit in the early 1890s and worked for a small retail dry goods company that netted him $6 a week. By 1899, he had saved $1,000 and borrowed another 41,000 to join David Carter in the purchase of a small overall factory. By 1928, Larned, Carter and Co. was one of the largest manufacturers of workers clothing in the country.
