Please pay attention while detecting in rural and wooded areas as turkey season is getting ready to open. With head phones on and hunting slowly making sweeping noises as turkeys do feeding you may not hear a hunter softly purring in a bird.I read in another post in MD forum you might want to wear some orange for safety if you are in the backwoods and creeks. Be safe and hunt with eyes wide open.Thought it was worth saying again.

Couldn't resist! I've got to work this weekend! :( So no turkey hunting or detecting for me :( :'( :'(

Thanks Tnmountains for posting the reminder. I also want to add avoid wearing red, white and blue while prowling the woods as these are the colors turkey hunters look to see. I saw a lime green safety vest at w-mart a few days ago for about 14 bucks.

I bagged mine today about 3 o'clock.

What did he weigh? Much spurs and beard?? I was looking for a CS site today and heard one gobble and about two hours later heard a hen puttin around. Heard one shot all day though.
Congrats on the bird I am not sure some treasure hunters think about hunters ?
