Only had about an hour to do a quick scout of a new field. None of the usual sign was there but I was situated on a high spot between a lake and stream. Wasn't very sandy either. After gridding a bit, I spotted a broken point. Picked it up and it was like a blast from the past. About 20 years ago, I found the bottom half of a fluted point which you will see in the last pic next to this one. This point today is not fluted but broke about the same way as my other one. Would like to know what your thoughts are on the particular type of point it is, and for my other one while we are at it. Maybe one of these days I will find a whole one of one of these oldies. Thanks
