good day
I was wondering if anyone knew how to find out the price of this ketchup bottle I have. It is sealed and I can not find any bar codes. I'm guessing it is around the 1970"s?? I found it behind a lazy Susan.
I hope the picture attached!

Welcome, Troyfl. Boy, my initial reaction to your photo and post is toss it ASAP. Rotten food, not old enough. Unopened rotten Ketchup would not rise to the value of an unopened Billy Beer, IMHO. Hope I'm wrong.

Gross. I'd say the price is a portion of whatever you pay for your garbage services.

I noticed this was your very first post - so, Welcome Aboard troyfl! You didn't list your state (or country) in your profile. So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forums: Select Your Area.... and selecting location information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country). You might also consider adding your state (or country) to your displayed profile (SETTINGS -> EDIT PROFILE) so if you ask a question, etc. - people may have more success helping you (if necessary)...

Is there a number on the bottom in the glass? I doubt its worth like $7 or anything, but store it away another 100 years and maybe it will be more than that, it made it this long....

:icon_thumleft:Ketchup has a high percentage of vinegar so it’s probably still good, just a little thick and black, I’d try it (for money of course) if you do try it, let me know what it taste like

I doubt it is spoiled. The acids in the tomatoes keep bacteria from growing. I would keep it as a conversation piece. Send a pic to the Mfg. perhaps they would date the label.

The bottles didn't change much since the early 1900's.
