Hello there, a newcomer Swede here. Sadly. Oh how I wish I was Norwegian.. anyway, I found this awesome forum a while ago and have been lurking intensely since. I guess I'm somewhat odd around here, given that I have absolutely no intentions of findings treasure, at least not the kind that could give any possible monetary gain. ::) There simply isn't anything like that around here.

What I'm interested in is history; ever since I was a child, the past has been my big fascination - just like many others here, I assume. ;D Local history and family history are especially exiting, so to speak. I won't be finding any treasure troves, but small surprises and secrets are definitely possible to discover, and this site sure seems like a gold mine for that.

Huh. Making a overly long and boring introduction wasn't as hard as I thought it'd be.

Hi Galen and welcome :hello:, there are a few Swedish members here, so I am sure you will find plenty of help in your quest.

Happy New Year

1/4 Swede here! Grandma from a place called Dalarna, I'm told.

You're the first Swede I know that wished he was Norwegian though. :laughing7:

There's got to be interesting things in the ground in Sweden. Keep us informed, huh?

Welcome to TNet and the greatest guys (and gals) in the world!
