🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Hello! Found this oval tag around some other things dated roughly mid to late 1800s. Thought it was a heel plate at first. Anyone have any ideas?

Looks plated. If so, and silver? probably a decorative mount. Looks like the riveted pin and threaded pin are also a mounting stud for something.
