Have been Mding on an off a couple years with a cheap detector and havn't really found anything good. Played snowbird this year and went to Fl for month of February and bought a Ace 400 and found some Wheaties on beach. Retired now and planning on getting out more, 23 years coal mines 25 years truck driver and equipment operator, Happy hunting

Welcome to the forum from the Shenandoah Valley of VA! SW VA? My wife is from down around Castlewood/St. Paul area, you know that area? Lot of hollows and old home sites to hunt. Her old Elementary School would be a great Hunt if it weren't Fenced and No Trespassing. Seems it was a hang out for a lot of the parting type and so they shut it off and fenced it in. Bet there are still others in the area that might be open. A little research and luck might put you on some good finds! Good Luck!
