Hello from Baltimore, MD. I have been metal detecting for the past four years. I was using a White's Coinmaster. I recently purchased a Garrett At Pro in October. I mostly hunt for relics and coins in my area. I hope to learn more about the hobby through this forum. Always up for learning something new about the hobby.

Hey! I just joined also. I'm from the Arbutus area. Just got a Garrett Ace 250 and Pro Pointer AT. I'm so new I haven't even done my backyard yet!!! I'm waiting for this weekend to head out there. Supposed to be about 60 degrees out!

I'm about 20 min north of B-more. Only been detecting for a yr. I'm down to meet up at some dig sites.

This weekend, I'll be spending time in my own back yard getting used to my detector and seeing if I come across anything. I'm really interested in trying to find places north-western part of MD. I may try to reach out on Craigslist if need be to find some private property. I love the hunt for old relics. I do woodworking with barnwood as a hobby. Just the history alone drives me toward hobbies like this! A couple of weeks ago I acquired some brick from the 1800s off an old farm. I may try to reach out to him. Anyone interested in anything like that?
