Hello everyone. I got my first detector back around '97. Love going to Lake Michigan to metal detect, but high gas prices and migraine disquised as vertigo has put an end to frequent long trips. So I hadn't been up north for about 5 years. In the last few weeks I've dusted off my Tesoro Sidewinder and have been hitting tot lots pretty heavily. I found my second gold ring of my detectoring career two days ago. A tiny child's 10k nugget ring. I actually thought it was mower shrapnel when I first saw it in the dirt. Anyway I'm finishing lunch break and can't wait to get off work to visit a new site and play. It's really beautiful out today.
