Hi there! I'm brand-spanking new to metal detecting. Joined this forum to envelop myself
in tips and all things MD. I'm a 23 year old guy from Kansas. My dad recently picked up a Bounty
Hunter Pioneer Ex (I know it's probably a joke to most of you, haha.) so i decided to take it
out on his land and see what I could find. I mostly found a bunch of iron nails/nuts & bolts,
but was just happy to be finding anything! I ended the day finding a brick of some sort of
aluminum/metal. Taking it tomorrow to see exactly what it is, but boy was it heavy!
Also, any tips for digging in very rocky ground? Thanks for reading and excited to be a
