Hello from Northern California...

New to the sport of metal detecting/prospecting and since I live in the heart of gold country mostly looking for it. I'm 55 and work full time so only a weekend warrior at the moment. Currently I have a Garrett AT Gold and have only been out 5 times to date. Looking forward to learning as much as possible since the times I've been out I spend as much time scratching my head as I do admiring found targets, and this is after watching every YouTube video there is on the AT Gold!
