I'm Back in the States, Now.

Have you met any other treasure hunters while there, who came from other countries to hunt treasure?

A local treasure hunter found this little sword inside a cave entrance...carved rocks in the area.

I was renting a 1000 sq ft house for $200 a month in Mindanao, I stay there awhile, I come back to the states for a little while, then I go to Portugal for awhile.

Yes, I was in contact at least 2 years by email, with some Philippine treasure hunters. They dug out a bunker on one of the beaches there, found down inside a cement mixer, cement rocks with treasure signs on them, a large cement sculpture of an oyster and something round like a huge pearl.

I had to take a good look and make sure that isn't me in the pic. Once I stood in front of a cactus the same size, next to the access road at the FLATFOOT claim in AZ. My hat looks the same and had the tripod out to get selfies standing next to the cactus.

See why I had wondered about it?

Yeah, it's all lovely country out there in AZ. Last couple years I've been developing portrait art techniques. What I'd really like doing is AZ mountains, but that only could be possible if living in the area...takes a lot of picture taking to keep going in artwork.

what kind of art work? when I was younger years, I was a commercial illustrator for publication and painted signs
I have a few videos I've made for YouTube but don't have any up yet. I'm in a new type of sketch mix media. It starts with pen, pencil, and charcoal. Then a workable water based translucent white type of fixative. I got the fixative idea from back during a time using a medium mix that extends the acrylic paint making it seamless and oil like drag. The charcoal tends to add the dark pigment to the translucent white fixative, interesting because it creates gray shades for shadow detail.

I used to do some song lyric writing back in the 1990s, so wanted to add a sound to the credits scrolling on the end. As you might expect, not sure about all legal aspects, free downloads doesn't mean you can use them for anything considered a possible commercial use. Artwork, even though the videos are for instructional purposes, not worth the risk. Checked online, see what is possible in the way of DIY. I discovered online recording studios, make your own demo for free. The studio software is interesting, made my own voice recordings in my laptop, uploaded and made my short audio for at the end.

Then the cover for a music video, plan to release it later this summer...getting finished soon. Focus is on the Queen and events leading to the disaster. I had a couple published songs back in the 1990s, so writing the lyrics was hardly even a challenge.
