Good morning,
I was wondering if anyone has ever come across this brand's "gold step" detector:

They claim it is a magnetometer detector which can detect gold deposits at 30m depth and 1000m range, which seems very extreme. I am not knowledgeable in this area of metal detectors, and the only detectors I have used are the Minelab Excalibur, Excalibur II, and Garret AT Pro, but as far as I know, magnetometer technology only works for ferrous metals. Also the long range part of the device claims to use EMR technology, but I simply don't understand how EMR can work at such a distance.
Is this detector legitimate in terms of the technology it promises? And more importantly, does anyone know if the company itself is legitimate or reputable?
