I am rather technically dense. But, I need to buy a GPS hand held unit and have no idea which one is the simplest to use.I need to know exact latitude and longitude co-ordinates when I am out in the field. I don't even need to record the numbers, I just need a readout of where I am on foot.I have no use for any fancy bells and whisles and will likely never figure out how to use any of them anyway. Thanks in advance, for any opinions,etc...stvn.

I use the e-trex legand and it is very easy to use

The Garmin eTrex H is $76 from Walmart and will do what you want. Make sure you get the newer "H" model that says "High Sesitivity" above the screen. The H models were released this past summer and work much better under trees than the older eTrex models that may still be in stock at some stores.
