Help ID. Are these Indian Pottery Shards or later ... perhaps 1800ish?

I'm not a pottery expert, but it appears to have been glazed and fired. I'd say your estimate is right.
 
White people crockery. Salt glazed I do believe. I would say get out your metal detector but, I already know the answer.....

salt glazed white folks pottery -1800 time frame --break out the detector --pottery means home sites normally --time to hunt -that stuff just screams --old stuff here.
 
I found some similar to that. It wasn't glazed though. I was told it was french pottery, probably from fur traders.
