Help ID bullet, Sharps maybe.

Found today in WV. My best guess is a 52 Sharps. The rings seem wider than the base, base looks to have cut mark, maybe from cartridge trimming. Thanks for looking.

Definitely reminds me of an "early" pattern Sharps.

It is a civil war era .52 Spencer bullet. The indention above the base (below the bullet's two "actual" body-grooves) was to help the bullet fit snugly into the cartridge casing's lip.
