Hi, I found this button, which has a diameter of 29mm and is made of copper, I found only the period of production (1856-1914 Joseph Starkey 23 Conduit Street)
but nothing that will make me understand who used it. Can you help me? Thx

While waiting I found another button that quoted different dates for the button company...

The McGuinn-&-Bazelon book on dating button-backmarks says the firm of Joseph (Josh) Starkey was in business at 23 Conduit St. London from 1859 to 1899, so your button could date from anywhere in that time-range. Help with Marine Button Identification (Sep 08, 2013)

Yes but those produced from 1859 to 1899 were produced at 23 Conduit Street W.
On the button I have not found the presence of the letter W.

well being its a state seal type button --possible use could be "state /national guard type military troops from that state esp since it civil war / Spanish American war eraish ... if I remember correctly that's PA state seal design..
