Pretty sure the lead-alloy piece is part of a horse harness mount (the insert, missing surround), but could be something else other than a trade weight which it doesn't resemble. We get tons of different lead weights with holes, they had many uses (spindle Whorls), net weight is one of many. Most likely Medieval period.

Thanks for the Info Crusader, the ground is so had I have resorted to surface skimming....hopefully some rain will soften the ground somewhat.

Yeap, unless we get rain, I'm done for awhile.

Hi guys, I am hoping someone can help ID the lead disk with the pattern on it's 27mm in diameter, I am hoping it has some age to it as it came up not far from some hammered coins.

I think the 2nd is a spindle whorl or weight?

Thanks.
Nice!!!! Congrats!!!
