To me in pic2, it looks like it's seen use wear. Not necessarily made by man but possibly used as it was found.

Although it's a little irregularly shaped. it almost looks like a whetstone.

Have you found any other artifacts in the same area?

Not familiar with material from your area but I would hang on to it. I have many of boxes of rocks that I call " potential to be something ".

And sorry PaleoPrincess, but I would have been raped over such a thread.

Not saying you haven't found something, but guys, come-on.

Where are all my haters at?

Seriously?

Forum Politics, LOL.

Indiana_acklac, not a single member has said it is an artifact, all replies and indications so far is it is a whetstone, not indian artifact.

Do not repeat this again.....

Thank you all for your replies. I’m not sure why Indiana_acklac is having so many issues with this post... but I genuinely thank all the input. I post here to get peoples takes on things. I am also not the type to argue. I know a genuine artifact when I find one. But sometimes even the top hunters struggle to Id something ( and I’m no where close to an expert) so again thanks for all the help.
