I was searching a new hunt location (Old Home Site) pre 1950. Only buttercup flowers mark the yard location now in a large hayfield, and a mound of stones from a ancient fireplace and some house foundation stones. I found a couple of items before rain ended that hunt prematurely. One, what I believed to be a copper hinge, was tossed into my bag and the other item was a very old fork. When I got home and cleaned the items this is what I had found.

the hinge thing is made of one piece of metal that has been folded and has a clasp on one end holding it together and there is also some hints of it being gold clad trim. A cigarette rolling machine? the part thats in the middle has a couple of toothed wheels. There are no identifying inscriptions or maker's mark. I also added the pictures of the old fork, That also has some gold cladding over the solid copper fork. The design on this fork are on both sides and I can't make out maker's mark. But If the fork can be identified that will help date the other item and maybe help ID it also.
