Looks like .32 cal. Weight is right.
 

Wow....... looks awful small. Just not sure on that one. Will really help if you can come with some digital calipers on future ID's. Very inexpensive. Coins, buttons and of coarse bullets are much easier to ID. They have really gone down in price the last few years. Under $20. It looks almost like cap and ball but is small. Ring is so near the base that it is odd for a cartridge type projectile. Most seat deeper in the cartridge and the ring is for crimp. Cap and ball is for lube. Congrats either way.:icon_thumleft:
 

Looks Civil war to me also. They used a lot of 36 cal bullets in the revolvers.
