Congrats! I always enjoyed foreign coins... they are an opportunity to learn about something different.

The Islamic date (found between and under the flags) appears (to these eyes) to be 1423. If so, the conversion to Gregorian is about 2002. (I used Islamic date X .97 then added 622 for a rough estimate.)
Don..........

Thanks, appreciate all the help. Ill post a picture of the "necklace" , it appear it was converted to a neckalce that broke but it was an afghan coin alpaca .

Hey everyone!

Thank you for using my date converter.

As far as the coin is concerned, its attribution is as follows:

Afghanistan,
Year 1316 of solar hejira, that brings us to the year 1937 of the gregorian calendar.
Denomination: 25 pul.
Ruler: Muhammed Zahir Shah
KM# 940 (Krause)
Weight: 2.9000 g.
Metal: Copper-Nickel (not silver!)
Diameter: 20 mm.

Hope this helps :)
