Dug this today one ball appears to be 50 cal the other slightly larger is don't have calipers and is 3 and a half inches long I'm thinking possibly 18th century? Any input would be appreciated thanks. Kent

That's a really great recovery, I don't know the age of it, but I sure do like it.

One ball is 50 cal the other is 56 cal
 

A very cool find! Can't help you with dating that piece....but it sure would look nice in a display case along with some corresponding bullets.
