I picked this out of the scrap yard. It screws apart and says ROSS VALVE CO. TROY NY, its chrome plated brass. I googled it and can not find anything on it. It sits perfectly flat like its a decor piece, dosent look like any kind of valve Ive ever seen. Can anyone help...

Thank you

I don't know why but I'm thinking it's out of a food dispenser of some sort. It's three pieces that were found assembled together in that arrow looking shape?

those guys make a lot of valves...I got tired of looking for the part...
must be inside of a valve...

write them...ask...they build it...still in business.

Is the top cone part pointed, or does it have a dimple on the tip?

What else have you found in scrap yards? I so enjoy touring around auto salvage and scrap yards. I had a job as a buyer in California and much of the steel we needed I dug out of scarp yards as it was cheap and the sizes I was looking for was often found at the scrap yard. So much interesting things ends up in a junk yard.
