Out detecting in the woods today before the snow storm at the river, junky as all hell down there. As per usual i came home with a pocket full of bullets and shells, all modern but still older than i am. I found these guys not too far apart. I don't have a calipers here at home but they are exactly the same size as a 9mm as far as i can see. Weird they would be close to each other but maybe some hunter was just trying out different rounds? Does anyone know exactly what these are?

Top one is made by Hornady. SWC (semi-wadcutter). Without measuring, it looks like it might be a 158 gr. .357 dia. slug. Here is a pic of a Hornady SWC similar to yours. Gary
