Help what is this?

I am trying to find out what this could be? It seems to curved to be a shell fragment. Not sure, it is definately a metal fragment form something. I located it near where I fould a shell fragment.

Any ideas on type? What throws me off is the small curve, and it seems to have a 'cleaner' break as compared to what I have found, plus it is smaller.
