the flower thing appears to be lead.. any help is apprciated,, thanx all !! i just looked closer at the thimbally thing and it's stamped sterling across the top.. it goes past my thumbnail when i put it on though ..

The flower deal-e-o looks like it can hook over something? Or is that little hooky thing broken... ? Maybe there was actually a loop there as well which could mean it is also some type of horse tack rosette?

I have no idea about that sleeve... is it silver?

Can you clean it up a little or reply to what the lettering/word says. I cant see it too well from the pic posted.

Looks like it says BATES on it.

My guess, maybe one of those collars that go on candles to keep em burning straight. Seen similar in some churches on their fancy candelabras.
