✅ SOLVED Help with a Chinese coin

[Bama Billy]

This was found by a buddy of mine at an old home site we have permission to hunt. Seems like an odd find here in Alabama but we were told that the railroads were built by mostly Chinese men so thinking that might be how it ended up there. I’ve done some research but can’t find a match, any help is greatly appreciated.

Cool find, Billy, I was about to reply with "there's so many of those with so many variations, good luck"...then HuntinDog nails it lol...I have a couple of those, one that size and one about 3 times as big. I guess they were brought over by the Chinese by the barrels, and usually carried around 100 at a time on a string, mostly for pay for Asian workers. Great save, those are the BEST conversation pieces...Ddf.
