Hello again, this is one more of my North Carolina finds. This one is a copper (I think) coin similar find. It is a little larger than a quarter and a little thicker. The edges are dressed and smooth, not at all like a punched slug. It is non-magnetic and I t weighs 14 grams or 1/2 oz. I washed off the clay and the copper colored specks was all I could make out. It came from the Winston-Salem area which has origins all the way back before colonial times. I found the quarter in the same backyard!
Thanks in in advance for any help!
