Help with Flat Button...

I am trying to figure out what I have. It is a flat button, 11.4mm / .4455" dia. with no apparent markings on the front, and a partial of the back is "ILLET & TORREY" from what I can tell. Does anyone know what the full name of the manufacturer is, or have any other info that will help me try and date the find? It was found in Hernando Mississippi at a house that was built in 1849. I am not looking for anyone to do my research, I just need something to get started with, this is my first button find of any age and I don't know where to start. Thank you for any help....
