I'm new to this forum.
Most of what I find where I live are marine fossils.
Sometimes I'll find petrified wood. But this one is different.
It sure looks like a hoof.... It was the only thing I found
in a fresh slide near the beach. And I had to use a rock
hammer to get it out of the shale boulder it was in.
Any ideas ? Dinohippus perhaps ? Or something entirely
different..... Any input would be appreciated.
