I've been here for a little while, but this is my first post... Hopefully I can pull it off.

My Aunt passed earlier this year and I'm just getting around to going though some of her possessions. I've got 5 oriental framed paintings, they appear to be on silk or linen. I know she traveled to Japan and China about 30 or 40 years ago and fell in love with the culture. I have no idea how to research the markings, and I'm not sure if any of them have any value. Your input would certainly be appreciated. All the best to you and yours, Michael

The attached thumbnail has the characters 焚香祝告 fénxiāng zhùgào. Burn incense and say one's prayers.

the stamp character in the attach photo of burning incense and praying looks to be the traditional character for 写xiě 寫 which means to write.

Welcome to treasurenet :)
Looks like painting 2 to 5 images didn't upload. Maybe you can try to upload them again.
