Trying to date this ring. Can anyone help me ID the HE makers mark? Found recently with my Excal on the beach wet sand. Dec 16 16 Silver ring.webpA little cleaner.webp

Found about 4 examples other than yours, all same design. Could not ID. Earliest mention online is 2004 on a metal detecting forum other than this one, poster described piece as having a "lifetime of wear" on it.

Thanks for the reply. I'm having a hard time finding anything as well but I did find "Most vintage Sterling Silver pieces have the older marks: “STERLING,” “STER,” or “STG.” Some modern jewelry today will use “STERLING” either with “925” or without it, usually in conjunction with the maker’s mark."

And it does appear to have a lifetime of wear :) The search continues...

I found the same footprints toe ring in a swimming hole this past summer. My daughter ended up with it. Modern Ring.
