Help with Paintings

Found these two paintings at a thrift store any insight would help to see if there were 20 bucks a piece of their asking. I try to stay away from paintings I know nothing about them.

My guess would be Arabic on the signature. Which makes sense because I'm getting a middle eastern vibe on the image. If I'm correct, it may be very difficult to identify artist.
