Help with pewter eagle button

I found this button at my old fort premission, I see eagle on it , wondering how old is this button

Cast 1-piece pewter US Army Infantry "eagle-buttons" date from the 1820s into the very-early 1830s. Yours has a huge crude loop, so it is 1820s, not 30s. Your find is the very rare "cuff" size (15mm), which is shown as button GI-77v in the Albert book on American Uniform Buttons.
