Help with Pin

My co-worker found this pin his first time detecting. He thinks it is copper or bronze and it has a castle on the front. That's all I know. Can anyone give me more information on it? Thanks.

It's U.S. Army, Corps of Engineers, It's called a "type 5" disc, and would date from just after WW2 until 1970, since the pins seem to be mounted in brass. The WW2 version had the pins mounted in steel or tin I believe.
