Help with ring inscription!

Found this yesterday. It rang in like a quarter. Wiped the inside of the band looking for "925" or "Sterling", but instead saw "COAST" on one side, and "SS" and what I think is "ADI" on the other. Does anyone recognize these marks? Usually I think "SS" as stainless steel, but it rang up around 12-46 on the CTX. Thanks for any info!

is the ccast engraving on the outside of the band
pretty crude engraving , not stamped

adi is the mark for amsterdam diamond and coast is a jewelry company from the 80's. The SS may well be stainless because adi 925 would be sterling. BUT, most likely, the ring is silver and copper. The silver is too soft and the copper makes it a stronger alloy. It is still a nice find...
