Welcome to Treasurenet, n8tgolden. The best place to get an unknown object identified is the "What Is It" forum, which is listed at T-Net in the "Our Discoveries" section.

About posting photos:
Here's the way I've done it.
1- Create a folder which you will use just for storing photo imagefiles, and give that folder a simple name like "relics."
2- Move (or copy) the photo imagefile you want to post into that folder.
3- Connect to TreasureNet, log in, and go the forum where you want to post the photo.
4- At the upper left of that forum's webpage, click on "Post New Thread."
5- Type the text about what is in the photo. (If it is a request for relic-ID, be sure to include the object's size measurements.)
6- Scroll down that page a bit and click on "Go advanced."
7- You will then see a box labeled "Manage Attachments." Click it. (Usually, doing that will take you to a new webpage.)
8- On the "Manage Attachments" webpage, you will see five boxes, with "Browse" on the right.
9- Click on "Browse."
10- In the "Browse" function, go the folder on your computer where you put the photo.
11- Select that photo's filename, so that the filename appears in the "Browse" box.
12- Then click on "Upload." Don't forget to do that final step.
13- Go to the first window, where you wrote your post's text. It should now show that the photo imagefile is attached to your post.
14- Click on "Submit."

Important note:
Only certain types of imagefiles are permitted... for example, .jpg, .gif, .png, and .bmp. (The permitted types are listed on the "Manage Attachments" page below the "Browse" option.) Make sure your photo imagefile is one of the permitted types.

Some times my picture comes out upside down when it is sent right side up...taking another picture with a different orientation on my phone fixes it...or using a photo program to flip it! The easy way for me on the computer is to first save pic to desk top, it saves me searching thru other photos for it!
