ee how things looked, bummer solid ice everywhere. This is an addition they are putting in at the park I hunt, those dirt piles are all the soil from there, they went down 12" and sifted ALL of it to

be put back down. The same thing was done to all the park....what finds I've made over 3 years there, and I can honestly say it was virgin before I hit it...as will be this spot.

The snow cover gives you a more detailed perception in the woods,as I was leaving I spied a spot that I KNOW goes back to early 18th century foot traffic....my next hunt, after this bitter cold that is,that ground don't freeze....but I dang sure do.:laughing7:

GOD Bless

Chris

It is rather hard trying to retrieve a target with fingers that don't work right!:laughing7:

Get those hand warmer packets.

Yes, as I've got older, my hands, fingers, feet, legs, and even my body doesn't want to work as it used to. Cold multiplies it exponentially. I think I lose 2% of use for a 1 degree drop in temp, then 5% for the next degree. lol
ODFB, I'm 72 and have heard that old saying since I was a kid. When you hear such, you don't forget it. It seems to just stay in the mind forever. lol

Heat packs are your friend. Frozen ground not so much, lol.

Chris,

Time to bring out the heavy artillery....lol.

Regards + HH

Bill

This time of the year it's so cold and snowy that I hate to go out. Been thinking of having my wife plant a few coins in a clean litter box so I can practice pin pointing.:laughing7:

Dude... you need a six pack, a good soft chair, the TV remote (fresh batteries close), lean back and just chill till spring. And there's a cure for pin-pointitis... MOVE SOUTH!
