Here is a Picture of some marbles, anyone know what I have here??

I found most of these in a circa 1880's privy. Some clay and some glass types. I know someone here has a clue as to what these are called, variety etc.. I really don't know but I thought they were cool finds from the pit! Thanks for any and all info...jgas

Looks to be mostly dough-babes (clay) and crockies (from crockery). nice find. Wish I still had all the marbles I shot through my slingshot in the 50s and 60s. As I recall the neighbor boy Mark had inherited his older brothers collection and when we were nearly out of ammo would go trade with him. Being both rather larcenist my brother filled his pockets from a rather large cardboard box with marbles as I demonstrated how well the large crystie performed as a shooter. Then my brother would trade his ill gotten gain as I filled my pockets as well. We later laughed at how he thought he got the better of the deal when we gave 5 or 10 marbles for one of his...
