here we go again winter weather advisory & Warning
The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory late Monday afternoon for Schuylkill County and much of Central Pennsylvania from 4 p.m. Tuesday to 7 a.m. Wednesday.
The NWS said it expects accumulations of 3 to 6 inches and snow-covered and slippery roads.
For Schuylkill County, the NWS predicts less than a half inch during the day Tuesday, but new snow accumulation of 3 to 7 inches Tuesday night.
On Wednesday, snow is likely mainly before 1 p.m.
Parts of Eastern Pennsylvania, including Jim Thorpe and Reading, are under a winter storm watch with 4 inches or more of snow expected.
Meanwhile, parts of Southeastern Pennsylvania are under a winter storm warning with 5 to 8 inches possible.
