Heres proof on why you should dig your overloads. Old Remington Pistol?

I got out for a 2 day hunt this weekend. it was a great hunt for the 2 of us. Lots of buttons, lead, and good company. I also got a first for me. Well a couple of firsts. But this is a good reason why you should dig your overloads. That pistol overloaded on me and I decided Ill dig this one. Im glad I did!! It looks like a Remington to me.

Beautiful gun! Put that one in a display case for sure ;)

Wow, too bad it is in such bad shape.

Great finds! Thanks for sharing...

Awesome pistol, I would proudly display it

Whats the dimensions on that pistola?

From the end of the hammer to the end of the muzzle I have 9 3/4 inches. The muzzle has been broken off at some point. From the end the cylinder to where the end of the muzzle is km ow is 6 1/4 inches.

I agree that would look awesome in a display case. Congratulations on a great weekend.

Nice finds, Marine.

love the gun!.....every time i get a nice overload i think gun or pocket knife.

Awesome! You scored a "10". On this hunt! Nice bullets and buttons!
I will be digging my next overload, but I doubt I get anything as good as that!

Don't matter what it looks like. Awesome find. Only in my dreams. Later Clyde

Congrats on the find looking pretty good

I will get an overload signal on my Minelab on a can end and then sometimes it will detect one with no problems. Kind of scary, I airtested a 1 oz silver Eagle and it would overload on anything closer then 2". Makes me wonder how many 1oz silver coins I have walked over?

I dug a one once silver bullion on overload. See my profile photo

Now that's a nice bunch of finds there! Congrats on the pistol, one of those is on most of our wish lists!
