Here's some of my recent finds!

I found this in Hancock county Georgia on our family owned land that we deer hunt on. I have not been a big artifact hunter until recently. About a year ago I started finding some arrowheads and all sorts of stone tools and pottery on the land in Hancock. Now I catch myself looking at the ground more than looking for deer when i go down there! We have several burial mounds along side of the creeks on our land. One of the mounds is a turtle effigy. One large rock w/ an eye and a mouth open,behind the large stone is a mound of smaller rocks that make up the shell w/ four legs and a tail. It was there the whole time just under the leaves! I will have to get a photo of it the next time I go down there. Here are photos of some of the points that i've found all over our land and some other things that i've come across . Any help with point id's and what the other things may be is greatly appreciated! I am trying to learn all that I can about who these indians were and what they were about! Thanks!

Sounds like GREAT site you have there!!!

Way to far out of my area to be much help to you though, but I know there are others familiar with your area that may be willing to help you out.

nice, I found some quartz points like that down the road from you on my cousins farm where I hunt. It`s in Madison off of 83 and 20, Banks Farm and I have walked the 2500 acres and found some rock shelters by the creeks, some pottery and a few points Thats about all I have found so far. They bought 4000 acres in Greene county but I havent had a chance to check there yet. Show us more of what you find on your property
