Took my detector out for the first time for "serious" detecting. Found a bunch of what looks like broken tractor parts, couple horse shoes and assortment of nails (junk). Also found a button and copper piece. Closest example I've seen of this button is hessian/Tombac? If anyone can identify it that would be great, there aren't any markings on it unfortunately. The copper piece may be junk as well, but looks like it may be some kind of ornamental piece. All found in a cornfield next to a creek nearby an old RR track/station which neither of are still around. Where I found most of the junk and button/ceramic pieces was a small high spot in the field close to the creek. Thanks for looking.
