Hey all my detecting friends

I haven't been on here for a while hope everyone is doing good finding lots of treasure. I went on a trip with a couple of detecting friends, the field we was supposed to be on was planted. So we ended up in the pasture next to it. It was a civil war battle field, anyway I now have my very first civil war era relics. Can't begin to tell you how happy I am.

Congrats Bud. My first was a fired bullet. I remember it clearly and know exactly where I found It. I haven't been the same since. [emoji106]
Is that a Kepi buckle?

Im not sure what kind of buckle it is I think it either came off of a rifle strap or a horse bridle
